How to Play Cambio

Cambio is a memory card game where you try to finish with the lowest score. The trick is that most cards stay face down, so every peek, swap, and guess matters.

Quick Start

Goal End with the lowest total card score.
Memory At the start, memorize your bottom two cards.
Turns Draw, swap or discard, then use any card ability.
  1. Each player starts with face-down cards in a two-row grid.
  2. On your turn, draw from the deck or take the top discard.
  3. If you draw from the deck, either swap it with one of your cards or discard it.
  4. If you draw from the discard pile, you must swap it with one of your cards.
  5. When you think you have the lowest hand, call Cambio to trigger the final round.

Example Hand

Your cards stay in fixed slots. Eliminated cards leave empty spaces instead of sliding the hand around.

FAQ

How do eliminations work?

If you think another face-down card matches the top discard rank, click it. If you are right, that card is eliminated. If you eliminate an opponent card, you give them one of your cards as a replacement.

What happens if I guess wrong?

You draw a penalty card, and your turn ends.

When should I call Cambio?

Call Cambio when you think your total is lower than everyone else's. After that, the table gets a final round before scores are counted.
